So this stuff's cool!

Enjoy this page full of stuff I think is pretty damned cool. It's not an exaustive list, but it covers more than a few things that I hang around.

Undisputed Online

So I don't know if there's any other UFC 2009: Undisputed leagues out there, but they have to be quaking in their boots. This is a website that runs a re-created UFC using UFC 2009 and a Ladder system for the world to see you kick ass all around the Octagon in. Pretty awesome. You can find me here under the tag "pvtGramps" in the Welterweight Division.

hotchickswithdouchebags.com

One of my favorite, albeit shallow, hangouts on the web, HCwDB is a mocking delve into the culture of night clubs, drunken frat parties and over-the-top peacocking that goes on in College Frats and Nightclubs everywhere. Has a book available through Amazon.com and soon a TV Show called "Is She Really Dating Him?" on MTV in the Fall based on the site. I'm not actually a participant on the comment threads, but I do check the site out a lot.

National Novel Writing Month and Script Frenzy

Double link, but double the Goodness. These fast-paced writing events have participants streaking their way through 50,000 words or 100 pages in 30 days in November for NaNoWriMo and April for Script Frenzy. Get your thinking caps on and lock your inner editor away! You can find me lurking on the forums under the name "Jayke".

StumbleUpon

Usually how I get around the Internet, StumbleUpon is a toolbar add on for your Web Browser to find your way around the internet based on a "Stumble" button and your interests. You can tell it if you like a page or don't, and it gets pretty good at matching your interests. I haven't installed it yet on my new laptop, but it's pretty cool for finding things like HCwDB.com.

SpecOps Paintball

I used to be somewhat sponsored by these guys, or at least I ran around wearing all of their stuff and spouting off their ideas. Either way, they make an awesome suit of Camoflauge and have some great theories on Paintball teamwork and leadership that have helped me out. You can find the original versions of my "Leadership" "Team" and "Theory" article sets here stickied in the Forums under "Commander"
